I am an electronics technician and software developer. Obtained my first call sign in 2017 and recently changed to ZL4KJ.

I have been on and off HF as I only have temporary aerials up that don't like high winds. I'm working on a more permanent solution to get on HF more often.

Currently working on my Morse Code skills to make CW my primary mode by the end of 2021.

Am sub-licenced by NZART for 60m so intend on being on air around 5352kHz CW.

Using a Yaesu FT-897D set to 10W with a homebrew 49:1 EFHW aerial that I hope to have permanently up in the next couple of months (by July 2021).
