Every one that knows me calls me Lenny.

Moved from Nevada to Arizona in 2008. Live out in the sticks and off the grid.

Station here is a Yaesu FTDX-5000MP LTD, Yaesu FT-1000MP MK-V, Yaesu  FT-897D, Ameritron AL-1500, Microham Digi Keyer II and Palstar AT2K antenna tunner. I also use the W2IHY Eq-Plus, Iplus and 3X1 and 1X4 coax switches. The microphone I use is a Heil PR30B. A Yaesu FT8800 is used in the mobile. My choice for HT is a VX6R.

In April of 2019 I picked up a used 55ft crank up tower along with a KLM 34XA and Cushcraft 40-2CD antennas. I rebuilt the tower, upgraded the KLM to the latest M2 36XA specs and strengthened the 40-2CD. Both antennas got new Array Solutions baluns. The 36XA is installed at 57 feet and the 40-2CD is at 70 feet. The antenns are turned by a rebuilt 80's vintage Tail Twister II. The rotator control box was rebuilt and Rotator EZ board and led's installed. Other antenna's used are the DX Engineering 8040VA-1 and Zerofive GP10-40 vertical.
