I use my middle name, Dick, on the air.

MY OLD CALL WAS KB4GEY.

I’ve been a ham since 1982. From 1986 to 1988 we lived in Sevenoaks in England and I worked in London on Audley Street.  

In June 2018, I retired from teaching Computer Science at a community college in Southern Maryland and decided to get back into ham radio after being off the HF bands for over 20 years.

We live in the City of Fredericksburg, Va., so our lot size is rather small and limits any antennas.

Currently running a ICOM 7300, an Elecraft KAT 500 Tuner, an Elecraft KPA 500 AMP, and a EFHW-4010 multiband end fed antenna (at about 20 feet). Using LOG4OM logging software and WSJT-X with JT Alert.
