I am a native of Houma, Louisiana, born in 1952.

My wife is from Suriname, South America, and we enjoy our family of three children and  six grandchildren who also live near us in Houma, LA.

I am retired from a chemicals manufacturing facility located on the Mississippi River near New Orleans, Louisiana.

I was licensed as ham in 1974. I had been inactive on the HF bands for 25 + years but recently became active again in January 2013.

I operate HF on an Icom IC-718and an Ameritron AL-80B linear fed into either a Hy-Gain Tri-Band Beam TH3-MK4 or an 40 and 80 meter using a fan inverted vee at 40 feet. 

I operate PSK-31 and other digital modes with into the beam at 40 feet from my Icom IC-718 using a Signalink USB soundcard and an ASUS Essentio CG5270-BP004 Desktop PC with Core 2 Quad Q8300(2.50GHz) 8GB DDR2 1TB HDD Capacity Intel GMA X4500 using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Operating System running Ham Radio Deluxe version 6.0.

I belong to the Bayou Region Amateur Radio Society, also known as the Thibodaux Amateur Radio Club. My EPC number is 21660. I operate FM locally on 2 meters mobile and at QTH with a Yaesu FT-2900R.
