Here's the short verson of my life, just to bore you a bit.

I was born, raised and spent most of my life in Chicago. I retired from the Chicago Police Department after 33 years as a patrolman.
Sure glad I don't have to work the Chicago streets today.

Moved here to East Tennessee 7 years ago and have never looked back. I do however miss the food in Chicago.

I shoot a lot of archery and I travel all over the US on my Goldwing motorcycle. Almost 300,000 miles on two wheels.

I'm a Vietnam combat veteran (1965-1966 173rd Airborne and 1967-1968 101st Airborne).

Originaly licensed in 1974 (Advanced) as WB9ZRA. Change my call when I moved to Tennessee. Never liked the 'Z' in my call. Upgraded to Extra Oct 2016. I've also become a VE now that I'm an Extra.

I have a nice home, great neighbors, taxs are low, lots of beautiful country to ride my motorcycle and for the most part the weather is good all year.

Everything you could want in retirement. Believe it or not, I even like my XYL. hihi
