I have been a Ham since I was 15 year old. I have been in and out of Ham radio several times. This last hiatis lasted 10 years. I always seem to get the sunspot cycle wrong!
So now I am back in the hobby. I bought a TS-990S and pulled the TL-922A Linear out of the basement. I have a 55' tower in the back yard waiting for my new beam to be placed on top.
I have been in the Aviation business all my life. I keep starting new companies. Eight total. I buy, sell, and lease commercial aircraft and engines. My website is at www.inavgroup.com. I have over 10,000 flight hours in various corporate jets but limit my flying now to my Beech Bonanza A36 with the Rolls Royce Turbine engine conversion.
I am very active in the Non-profit world. I have been a Trustee at St. Norbert College in DePere, WI (www.snc.edu) for 14 years and also Chair the Board at the Organ Transplant Center at Northwestern University (www.transplantvillage.org) . I received a liver transplant from them in March of 2011(http://flyme33.wordpress.com) and I remain very active in the transplant community. I'm lucky - I still am an active skier, boater in the summer, and fly my airplane.
Now I enjoy PSK31 on 10/15/20. This is new stuff and great fun! Also SSB on the lower bands. Glad to be back in the hobby...
