I love digital modes like PSK-31 and FT-8, but please if you want me to log our QSO send me a 73. I will respond with a 73 at least 5 times before I cancel the QSO. ARRL, EPC #20405 and Pickens County Emergency Radio Group My Photo shows Me and my two fuzzy harmonics, Andy and Lacie at the station. Andy went to the rainbow bridge on July 29, 2016. He was my best buddy for 16 1/2 years. I have a new BF named Mac, an 10-year-old rescue Westie male. I QSL via QRZ (auto) (AG), LoTW or Direct. I go by my nickname "Buz" and got my Ham Ticket in 1961 in Little Rock Arkansas. I am a semi-retired Manufacturing/Tool Engineer, working part-time for a large automotive company in SC and own my own Mechanical Design Company, where I provide mechanical CAD designs. I have been sporadically active in Amateur Radio over the years, but plan to stay active now since I have more time on my hands. I have many hobbies and interests, so Amateur Radio is not necessary for my prime activity. I am active in Scottish History, especially the border Johnston/e Clan and in the Clan Johnston/e in America. I also do genealogy family research and also provide assistance to other's looking for family members here in the upstate of South Carolina. I am an avid camper and own my own RV class A camper. I enjoy photography, computers, and college sports. Since building a workshop, I hope to be doing some woodworking projects that I have put off for many years. In my younger days, I was a professional Drummer for 27 years playing Rock & Roll, Rhythm & Blues, Jazz and Country and have been fortunate to work with some very big names in the music business. I was born in Ft. Smith Arkansas, so I am a Razorback fan by birth, but since moving to SC in 1983, I've become a big Clemson fan. I also am involved with my church where I serve as an usher and a member of the drama and Kidz ministry.
