Hello,
I was first licensed in 1963 as WN6DFQ. One year later I upgraded to General later to Advanced Class (WB6DFQ) and finally Extra (W6ONG).
My radio interest are casual DX chasing on CW.
The station here consist of several HF rigs including FT-897D, IC-7000, and an AL-811 amplifier.
On VHF/UHF I use a FT-7800.
The antennas used at the home QTH are a HF-6V, 5BTV,multiband dipole and an 120 ft wire tunned with a SGC 230.
The XYL (W6MAW) and I enjoy motorhome trips and during those trips I operate QRP using a FT-817 with a vertical wire.
My day job is a Telecommunication Engineer designing, installing and managing Public Safety Radio Systems.
