 Hey!  

Thanks for stopping by!  My name is Sean.  I just recently entered into the world of amateur radio in May 2018 and kicked myself in the butt for not having gotten into this sooner!  I took my Technician exam on my birthday, May 20, and my General exam two days later.  I was originally assigned KI5AAK until I applied for and received my current vanity call sign of W5AJO in August 2018.  The call sign is significant to me, in that the last three letters of the call are the airport code for Corona Municipal Airport (KAJO), located in the city I grew up in - Corona, CA.  

I’m a career aviator holding an Airline Transport Pilot License and Flight Instructor ratings and currently teach in Dallas at DFW for a simulator training provider.  

Now with better pay and quality of life, I can finally devote time to this hobby like I’ve always wanted to.
