Background:

Early interest in electronics and radio -- built Heath Kits, Knight Kits and breadboard projects.  Got into computers in the 70's (the big ones) and had a career in information and payment technology, wife, kids, etc.  Retired.  Finally, picking up where I left off.    First IC project in 1970 was a 3 bit digital counter using 2 JK Flip Flops.    

Other Interests:

Gigging Musician - Acoustic Guitar, RC Model Aircraft, Savanah Parrothead Club President.  Former Competitive Runner (currently I "jog"), Nationally Licensed Soccer Coach.

Last Work Project:

My company piloted and scaled Contactless (NFC) Payments in the US.   If you use Apple Pay or Android Pay, then you use the technology we developed.      

HAM Interests:

This hobby is SO deep and wide.  Aside from HF experience and DX Chasing, I want to learn as much as I can about digital modes and all the microprocessors, gadgets / dongles that are out there since I have a technical background. Also, interested in public service once I get more time in grade (I live in a hurricane prone area).
