User info

I was first licensed as KD4IMP in 1992 then licensed as KT4OA in 1996. In 2004 I got the vanity call W4MMR. My elmer is N4WH who got me interested in ham radio and CW operation in the late 90s. I later paid this forward and elmered KE4LDK. I enjoy all modes especially digital although CW is my all time favorite although not entirely relaxing. I enjoy QRP mostly as a matter of necessity and for the thrill.

I live in a restricted area so I have to hide antennas so my signal is not as big as it could be. My curent antennas are a 6-40m end-fed from earchi, http://www.earchi.org/proj_homebrew.html, and an attic dipole cut for 20m. I also have a G5RV that I use for portable operation - raising it with my 33' fishing pole.

10-10# 68267, NAQCC: 0062, FPQRP: 316, SKCC 9813.

I'm use LoTW and eQSL, bureau, and send direct as required.  I like to collect the QSL cards.  No return postage necessary if you QSL direct.
