I have been a Ham since 1977 (WD4IOX, KM4ZM). I was 30 at that time. I love working DX. I have over 325 DX countries confirmed. Several others have not returned my QSL. Hope to one day be on the "Honor Roll". Almost all were with 100 watts. I do not use an Amp now. My first radio was a Heathkit HW 101 I built before my licence arrived.  I then used a ICOM 751A until 2011 when I recieved a like new Yaesu FT 990.  I now use a Yaesu FT1000 MK5.  Hope to catch you on the HF bands.
