I got my license at the start of 2020, which was something I have always wanted since the late 1980s. As they say better late than never. I live on the mid-north coast of NSW, Australia on acreage I am lucky to have a very low noise floor. Currently, in the shack, I use Yeasu FT991A and Kenwood TS520. The FT991A is a great little rig and is primarily used for Digital modes and local club VHF nets. When on 40 and 80M I generally use the TS520 and regularly use it on 80M nets, it is a joy to use and when conditions are good it is a joy to listen to.
