User info
Thank you for visiting my page and if you came here because of our on-going or previous QSO then TU FER FB QSO.
I'm a model -70 ham-operator, licenced in May 2014 and on-the-air producing QRM since June 2014 although with an almost lifelong interest and activity in DX-listening, DIY radios, electronics design & construction, computer building and programming and lately also towards robotics.
Station
My current station used for amateur radio and located on 12 floor of appartment building and made of :
Kenwood TS-590S transceiver, max. 100 watts.
Icom IC-706 MKIIG transceiver and LDG Z11 Pro II tuner, used as portable setup.
Kenwood TM-V71 VHF/UHF-transceiver used as base for UHF/VHF and Kenwood TM-281 is in my car.
Yeasu FT-817D is my QRP rig which I am using in local parks and remote locations without access to the electrical grid.
Baofeng UV-3R VHF/UHF handheld transceiver.
Self-assembled custom PC and interfaces for working in digital modes, computerized logs, SDR-receiving and other on-the-air operations. Primary software bundle in use is HRD & DM780, JT65-HF and JT-Alert.
Home-brewed digimode interface. .
HomeBrewed SoftRock SDR shortwave receiver
Amertron AL-80B amplifier with HomeBrewed "many watts" Antenna tuner for QRO
Loads of homebrewed antennas, baluns, audio-processors, frequency counters, filters, power supplies etc.
Activity
I'm active mostly on HF 20m bands using PSK SSB and JT65 modes, also trying out other digital modes, sometimes a bit of rag chewing with other stations and experimenting with EchoLink. I'm also trying to relearn the art of CW.
QSL & SWL-report policy
I upload all my base station QSOs to HRDLOG.net in almost realtime unless the Internet connection to the shack happens to be broken. Uploads to LoTW, and QRZ.com are made regularly . I like to chase awards based on these electronic QSLs, so your reply would be very much appreciated.
All paper QSL cards sent to me will be answered unless the card says "no cards required", etc. and I send paper QSL cards on request both direct and via bureau. Bureau cards are collected from and delivered to our local club station that I tend to visit a few times per year so it will take a long time that way. Direct cards will be answered direct with a day or two of delay, no need to send envelopes, IRCs or money.
If your any kind of QSL from me is missing, please send me an e-mail and I'll check what's wrong. Please note that I don't make regular log entries for QSOs on 2m band and higher frequencies though, especially when working mobile or portable.
