Hi! Been an amateur radio since 1964, and SWL a couple of years before. This year, 2016 it is going to be 52 years of fun and challenges. I'm a member of QRP ARCI # 5885, NAQCC # 0214, SKCC # 10361 & QRP CLUB. I only operate QRP power, 5 watts or less and very often QRPp = below one watt into the milliwatts, with simple wire antennas . Such as Inv Vee, End Fed Half Wave, vertical wire, Triangle etc. We do many portable operations using wire antennas or the Buddipole/Buddistick, always full size no compromise (no coils). QRP radio are: Yaesu FT-817ND, Icom IC-703+, Elecraft KX3.- I use batteries most of the time which are a K2 Battery (LITHIUM IRON PHOSPHATE) www.k2battery.com DX is going to be more difficult, as the countries I need are much far away, such as South east Asia and some hard to catch in Oceania. That is about it, so, see you on the air, All the very best to all 72/73 Michel VE2THView on Map (FN46HU)
