Mainly operated by Richard VE2DX is located on Jesus Island (CISA PQ-014 (QC-014 on New CISA List)). Licenced in 1990, but active in the Montreal Ham community since the mid 70`s. Richard an avid Hamfester, organised the first CRALL Hamfest in St-Therese in 1993. He was the Assistant Coordinator for the RAQI Emergency Net for region 6 (Western Quebec) from 1996 till 1998. He was directly involved with the coordination of the Emergency net during the 1998 Quebec Ice-Storm. Richard was assigned as the RAC Section Manager for Quebec from 1999 till 2002. Now spends a lot of time experimenting in digital modes and running HF contests from Jesus Island (CISA PQ-014) when ever he can as the main operator of the VE2DX contest station.

Jesus Island, 20 mi (32 km) long and 8 mi (12 km) wide, and is located north of Montreal. First settled in 1681, it was granted to the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) in 1699 and named for François de Laval, the first Roman Catholic Canadian bishop.
