 Prophet Muhammad (SAV) is known as the founder of the religion Islam and carried the message of god to humanity.

Although HAM radio is not a religious and politic activity, I believe recalling god’s universal message of peace, will be meaningful, as humanity need peace more than anything in now days. The activity does not deliver any political message while it is a peace project like most of the activities are. 

The “SAV” is an abbreviation of his appellation, meaning “peace be upon him” as in common English abbreviation “PBUH”. Prophet Muhammad (SAV) is one of the major figures in religion history, and accepted as the last prophet by than 1,5 billion Muslims in the world.

Islam dates back to the age of Adam and its message has been conveyed to man by God’s prophets and messengers, including Abrahim, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad. Therefore Muslims have respect to all prophets and holly books of tawhid (unity of god). The word “Islam” is derived from the Arabic root “Salema” meaning: peace, purity, submission and obedience. The main idea behind all tawhid religions is “peace”. I believe the peace is the major order of god to humanity.
