Middle-aged man (created 1968), young HAM.

Too many interests/hobbies to mention all of them (it seems I have a new one each ear). Some of the more prominent and lasting: music (guitar, keyboards), electronics, languages, psychology, theology, philosophy, natural medicine, spirituality, gardening, woodworking, books, hiking. And, obviously, radio.

Radio story: I have been interested in electronics and radio since childhood. However, in the communist Poland this was a hobby very difficult to pursue, so my interests went in other directions, mainly synthesizers and e-music. But old love never dies and finally I returned to radio, passed the HAM exams, got a callsign and a transceiver.

Current rig: HF: Xiegu G90 + digital interface Xiegu XDE-19 + Xiegu XPA125B Amp
UHF/VHF: Yaesu FT4x, TYT MD UV390 .

Antennas: T2LT at home (a dipole whose one arm is made from coax). EFHW + OCFD + dipole (for 10m) + vertical at my garden/allotment. For POTA/SOTA I use alternatively an EFHW, a vertical or a tuned Komunica hf-pro-2-plus-t.

Personal/professional info:

• Married, two children.

• Working as a web editor, journalist and language teacher.

• Education: MA and PhD in theology.

• Involvements: Christian community in my home town, network of European communities (ENC).
