 Hello folks!

Thank you for visiting "my corner" on HRDLog.net
I understand that if you visit here, you would like to know something about me ... :)

I live with my family in a small town in the south of Poland, in the JO90ND11 square.

I can say that the radio has been in my life since I was a child.
Unfortunately, for one reason or another, so far I have not been able to devote myself to this hobby as much as I would like.
Despite the fact that for work I use various types of radio communication practically non-stop ...

As they say - life brutality.

Now, finally, enough time has been managed to devote a part of it to the radio hobby.

As a radio amateur, I prefer to use self-built devices.
Currently, after a few previously started and never finished devices, I launched the transceiver WOLF according to the UA3REO project.

The construction process is still ongoing, and connections are made during tests after launching further options and changes in the device configuration. At the moment only digital mods ...

In addition, work is underway on two other transceivers of varying degrees of advancement.
Unfortunately, work and other higher priorities limit the time available for the hobby, and it is a slow process

In my opinion, it is not difficult to buy a "fancy" transceiver, a great antenna and "make" the whole world.
I could have done it a long time ago, but that's not what makes me happy.
I enjoy hand-made, commissioning and any problems associated with it. The most important thing is ... the process smiley

The model for me are people who in the past were able to do it on a 1V1 device or not much more complicated.

True, we now have a different electronic component technology that we can use in our hobby.

Just like for a real modeller (which I am also a little bit), it is not a problem to teach a plank to fly, for a radio amateur every piece of wire gives a signal :)

Due to the size of the available territory and its neighbors, I do not have any extensive antenna system.
My only shortwave antenna is the End Fed Long Wire about 25.6m in a strange inverted L slop configuration that tunes well on all bands from 80 to 10m.

I am planning to perform multiband inverted V or the W3DZZ variation.

It should fit diagonally across the property. Time will tell...

For now I work mainly with digital emissions, with the FT-8 preference.
But with such a different antenna option and an output power of about 9W (about 7-8W in real terms) in DIGI and max. 20W PEP in SSB ...

I confirm the QSO's practically "on the fly" via LoTW and eQSL, and then they appear here.

That's enough for now.
Perhaps I will complement ... with time.

Best regards,  and to meet you on airwaves.

Be well, folks :)
