 Hello!

I have been a licensed radio amateur since 2017 and have always been interested in radio communication since I was a kid. In the 80's I got my first radio transceiver, a cb radio with a 1/4 GP antenna. Already then I became interested in amateur radio and thought about taking certificates but at that time it was a requirement to be able to use cw and I was not so interested in learning it then. But in 2016 I got to know through a workmate that the requirement for cw had been removed so there was no doubt anymore, and here I am now!

I like to build antennas and the first one was a 29 inch long random wire antenna with a 9: 1 ounce. I am also very interested in digital radio such as DMR, WSPR (have a Raspberry QRP transmitter that I use now and then), and now most recently FT8.

My plan is to set up a tower and then get better antennas than I have now, if my finances (my wife) allow it. HI
