RP71AA - special event station in honor of the 71th anniversary of Great Victory in the 2nd World War and in honor of Hero of the Sovet  Union Alexandr Avdeev.

Since June, 1941 the lieutenant A. F. Avdeev on fronts of the Great Patriotic War as the commander of a link of the 153rd IAP, flew on I-153 and I-16. By January, 1942 the deputy commander of a squadron of the 153rd destructive aviation regiment (the 5th mixed aviation division, the Air Force of the 23rd army, the Leningrad front) the senior lieutenant A. F. Avdeev has made 189 successful fighting departures, in 16 air fights has shot down 2 planes of the opponent and 4 has destroyed on the earth. For these feats has been recommended for the highest decoration of the country. Since June, 1942 together with a regiment I battled as a part of the 2nd Air army of the Voronezh front on the American Aerokobra fighters.
On August 12, 1942 the commander of a squadron of the 153rd IAP the captain A. F. Avdeev was killed in air battle near the village New Usman (Novouspensky district of the Voronezh region). By this time I have executed more than 200 fighting departures, I have carried out about 30 air fights in which I have personally shot down 5 planes of the opponent. With the decree of Presidium of the Supreme Council of the USSR of February 10, 1943 it is posthumously awarded ranks of the Hero of the Soviet Union.
It is awarded by awards: Lenina (2/10/1943), Red Banner (9/13/1942), Red Star (12/3/1941).

Monuments are established to the hero and streets in Moscow and a mudflow New Usman are called.
