Re entering Hamradio after a couple of moves where the hams-stuff did not leave the moving boxes. At reeentrering i've upgraded my rig a little and converted my station to be capable of using HRD.

operating mostly qrp, digimodes with 2,5 watts  Max and put up a couple of new wiredipoles homemade monoband and al about 5 meters up.  using only the 20,40 and 10 meter band here.

All the dipoles are back in a box now, the Hy-End-Fed homemade threebander V0.3 is performing well now, and has taken the primary and highest position in my garden now.

As i was able to play around with an borowed Icom 746Pro for a while i'am trying to understand the icom-way-of-making-hamradio now, as an Kenwood grown ham this may take a while, so please mention if i have some function not tuned well next weeks .. This has been returned to its owner,  a very nice reciever, good filtering also.  But .. i was able to improve my station , read on ..

There was in August 2013 a slight change in my equipment, after several homebrew SDR receiver expiriments i was more than convinced, and i stumbled upon a reasonable priced Flexradio 1500 in the classifieds last year, as i  was already having a lot of fun with QRP, the (lack off) power was no problem for me and the device has a more than stunning receiver also..

Using it with great pleasure also for CW, made lots of qso's with that eurocard pcb sized miracle, even more than SSB as the map shows clearly .. hihi

Swl qsl-cards Always welcome,  preferrable electronic qsl, mine is ag, my logs will enter the LOTW too on a regular (weekly) base.

Just replaced the 20 meter Raspberry WSPR beacon with a 10 meter Variant, so my PD0PHA wspr beacon is now and only active on Ten meters this spring and summer, QRP = transmit frequency approx 28.125/6 Khz,  measured output at the SMA connector of th SMD based bandfilter is about 3 Milliwatt, so the Hy Endfed gets about 0.0025 watt or even a bitt less of that i may safely assume .. Please send me RX reports on the TEN Meter Wspr Beacon, would love to see some reports of that and that will show also that your station , antenna, rx and noiselevels are outstanding if you can hear and decode this tiny signal there ..

73 and hpe to meet you in person on one off these three hambands soon

Peter
