Call: PA9RF -ex PA7JS untill 2014 /PA3CWZ/PE1INI/PD0KGX 19RF001 President of the RFDX CLUB Netherlands PI4RF Name: Jack Schuurman. QTH: Ede. Country: Netherlands Birthdate: 05-08-1955. It started when I was 10 years old and my father came to me and said, "well I have some books with schematics from radio on shortwave to be build by youre own". So it started with the little one you know with the xtal receiver without a battery in it. And so I'd build a lot of superradio's with shortwave and AM waveleght with a 455 KHz oscillator in it. A few years later, I was 13 I think I'd made contacts all over the world on the 11 meterband. Later on at the end off the 70's I studied with a couple off amateurs from the region and I got the licence required for operation on VHF. 2 years later I got the big hunt licence So now I'm stalking the HF bands.
