 I am a radioamateur since I was about 12 years old, but licensed from 1985 (born in 1960). My main interest is digital operation. Due to limited space my antenna is an Endfed wire. I have the habbit of using minimized power to make the connection. Maximum power here is rated at 50W, nominal power is rated between 5 and 10 Watts.

Equipment at this moment:

HF: Icom IC-7300 with an Icom AH-730 to an Endfed wire at 40 meter ASL

VHF/UHF/SHF: Icom IC-9700 with a vertical X5000 at 40 meter ASL

I love digital modes as FT8, FT4, JT65, WSPR, CW and good old RTTY. In my opinion is digital communication the oldest form of Social Media. Icom made a fine job, software design radio (SDR) is a gamechanger in amateurradio.
