I was born 1965 and have had my licence since 2001.

I was introduced to Ham radio through my other great hobby, scouting. As a child I participated in Jota a couple of times around 1978, so when the local Ham club (OZ8KOR) asked my scout troop if we should do JOTA together, I was sold. It was in 1999 or 2000 as I recall it.

In summertime I like to participate in radiostations on scoutcamps, see qrz.com for at list of the stations.

My main winter interest is DX on HF Phone, but I will also do some digimode when my eqipment works :-)

My equipment is quite basic, a FT897 w. Tuner and a couple of home made antennas in my back yard.
