 Hi, my name is Yves, thank you for visiting my QRZ page. 

I live in Geraardsbergen, a small town 30Km east of Brussels, capital of Belgium together with my wife Veerle and two great daughters Oxana and Tiany. I am licenced since 1990 with the calls ON2ADY /ON1DHJ and as of 2003 for almost 20 years ON6RY.

Last 10 years a was the driving force for several repeater projects, mostly DMR, but didn't had that much time for the hobby due to busy job as Telco Engineer at Belgian biggest telephony, internet, IPTV and mobile cell phone provider, building houses and growing children ...

The worldwide COVID pandemie pushed me back to the HF bands where I was absent for 15 years with a special thank to ON4MDW for helping me exploring this.  A new world went open with lots of SDR and digital modes like FT8 and lovely radios like the ICOM IC7300, e-QSL and lots of other digital stuff ...

I love being outdoor and going out for hiking and camping, a radio is always part of the luggage ...
