I am a Licensed Extra Class operator. I was first licensed as KA5MSZ in 1982 and received the Advanced Class License KE5FZ in 1988. I lost interest in amateur radio due to a job change which required a significant amount of travel. I allowed my license to lapse in 1998. With some prodding by several of my ham friends, my interest in amateur radio was rekindled. I received my Extra Class license in 2008 and began building my station.
