 Hello : N3VMM here. My name is Dennis W Nichols . 54 years old. Married to my XYL (Stephanie) and two boys (Garrett who is going to be 8 and Riley who is 6 . I have been an Amauter Radio Operator since 1995. Enjoy the hobbiy and yes its only a hobby among everything else I onvolved in. I'm a Volunteer Fire Fighter of 25+ years, Also a Volunteer PA Game Commisson Hunting/Trapping Instructor of 5+ years. Got interested while in the service. (US Navy, Boatswain Mate Third Class) Served On the USS.California CGN-36 and attached to the USS. Jesse L Brown on which I never stepped foot on. Served from September 1984 to March 1990 as active to reserve.

Yes I'm only a tech and enjoy what I can operate. 2m 440 and 6 and 10 I enjoy it all. First I started out in packet to APRS and now the Digital modes. I belong to the 10-10 Club , The CMARC Ham Radio Club www.qsl.net/cm-arc/ . I operate two icom radios. A Icom 718 an Icom 7000. An AT-180 tuner for the 718 and a Icom AT-130 for the 7000. Also my antenna a Hy-Gain AV-640 around 35 feet in the air
