Mike here; I live close to Sandy Hook Bay in central New Jersey.  I am ex-Army (12 years) and was satellite communications equipment repairman.  I have been working in TV broadcast for over 20 years.  My start in radio was at age 8 with SWL and a Zenith Transoceanic which I still have. I was also into CB radio in the late 70's.  I always wanted to get into amateur radio and studied many times but the code test seemed so difficult to learn.  Fast forward to 2016 and I finally got my tech ticket.  Lots of listening and learning going on. 73 N2MEP
