 Hi - 64 yrs of age and recently took the U.K. Foundation licence, shortly to be followed by the 'Intermediate' in the next few weeks. My shack is a modest affair, with a recently purchased Kenwood TS 2000 as cenmtre piece and a 75' HyEndFed  5 band antenna orrientated North/South.  In fact, it currently stretches over the church grounds and is secured on one of my next door neighbours trees.

 My first intro into Ham radio was in 1969 when working with the U.K. military in Bahrain, Middle East, and operated under the umbrella of the 'club station'  with the callsignMP4BBA.  I am a member of the local NWRS (North Wales Radio Society) based in Colwyn Bay, with my  QTH being located a short distance away in Penrhyn Bay and is East of Llandudno on the North Wales coast, U.K.  My other hobby includes some leisure cycling on a tadpole recumbent trike. Not a pretty sight I may add!.
