I have been interested in Radio since the early 1970's on the cb bands. I got my Amateur Radio licence in 2000 and have enjoyed it ever since although I had a break from it from 2010 to january this year 2014 because of ill health. Thank fully I have got the health issues sorted out not 100% but to a degree that I can function and enjoy the radio again.
My wife is also a radio amateur ham her call is MI3RIL (Linda), sometimes I need to make an appiontement to get the microphone Hi Hi, she enjoys the radio as well.
