 I have been licensed since 2007, at the time of writing I am 49 years old & severely disabled, so Amateur Radio for me is a life-line as well as a hobby, my favourite bands are 2m 70cm 20m & 40m, although I do have a wander through all of the bands.

I dabble with various different aspects of the hobby like APRS & satellite operation, my main interest is antennas & I am always either experimenting with bought antennas or making my own, I like to try & make efficient QRP antennas.

I enjoy camping, canoeing, and most other outdoor pursuits (I have been a survival instructor for over 30 years), unfortunately being disabled, most of the old outdoor pursuits are no longer an option, until recently I had a little crampervan which took me on many roadtrips & created loads of memories,  I operated mobile & /P from the van & was trackable on APRS.  Hopefully I will be getting another one soon, but until then my mobile operating will be from my mobility scooter.

I will update this when I get some more spare time, but until then 73' & happy operating...
