 I have been an Amateur Radio operator for more than 40 years. I am retired from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office in Fort Myers, Florida as a Major in June 2011. Prior to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office I was a Deputy Town Marshall in Milford Indiana. I also served as an Advanced EMT at Multi-Township EMS in Warsaw Indiana. All in all I have served more than 35 years in public safety. During my career in Law Enforcement I have been a patrol officer, detective in several units, patrol supervisor, Commander of Technical Services, Commander of Technical Investigations and commander of Incident Management.

For much of my Law Enforcement career I also served as a church pastor in Grace Brethren Churches. I currently am the pastor of Friendship Grace Brethren Church in Fort Myers, Fl. I have a Master of Theology and Ph.D. in Christian Philosophy and Apologetics which I completed in 2013. I love to teach people eager to learn.

I work HF with an Icom IC-7100 feeding a Gap Titan DX mounted on a pole at 15 feet. The Titan DX is a great antenna and has been working perfectly for me. I enjoy chasing DX as well as rag chewing. It is always a pleasure to meet new friends all over the world.
