My name is Daniel Jones...I hold a General Class License. I am the President for 2018 of the McMinn County Amateur Radio Club. I also am a Deputy Sheriff and do equip my Patrol Vehicle with a Dual Band Transciever. There are around nine licenced Hams at the Sheriff's Office...Including the Sheriff. The McMinn County Sheriff's Office also has a full Ham Shack and sponsors a Program called Hamwatch in the County....It operates similar to Neighborhood Watch Programs....only utilizes Ham Operators.
