Received my Tech and General ticket first part of December 2019. Looking to learn about my new hobby specifically: DX, Contests, and Parks On The Air.....and everything else of course :)

I'm running an IC7300 and an EFHW8010P, an end-fed antenna from MyAntennas.com. I operate my little wire in the yard at 100 watts and am amazed at how well this little setup is working.

I'm lucky to live in the Pacific North West of the United States, about 25 miles west of Seattle as the crow flies. We live on Seabeck Bay which is part of Hood Canal, the only natural fjord in the lower 48.  The Olympic Mountain range to the west and the Cascade Mountain chain to the east provides a great environment for camping, crabbing, fishing, hiking, and pretty much any outdoor activity that you enjoy.
