Hi Thanks for stopping in.

Got alot of Questions about the photo in the QSL card so decided to share details on it and the website.

Just recently started a small ham related business selling small Ham Radio related projects.  Only shipping inside the USA at the moment, may expand this at some point when the world settles down.  We have gone to calling this theSkyHook.  We just rececently recieved our shipment of theSkyHookx2x6, both are onsale at our shop we call theHamStop.com, our link is theHamStop.com

We really enjoyed meeting all of the fine folks at the Belton, TX HAMEXPO.  Our product were well recieved and we had a great time visting with so many great HAMS.  Thanks to Mike K8MRD for putting us on his Radio Stuff YouTube Channel.

the GoKit Challenge 2022 we debuted theSkyHook in Denton Texas.  Since then we have had a great time theSkyHook out and watching so many folks enjoy and use it.  We also have been listening to feedback and hope to have more features soon as well.  Thanks so much to Mike Porter KF5LDJ and his Getting Out in Life, YouTube Channel.

I'm enjoying discovering what has been a dream for many years now.  I am an active member in many of the Denton County Amateur Radio clubs in my area DCARA (W5NGU), LAARK (K5LRK), LARA (W5LVC).

Shack configuration is a work in progress as always.

FLEX 6700 still runnig 100W on HF with this Rig.  I do have some plans to add an AMP in the future.

More Projects:

Dipole Lightbulb antenna!! Sure it's not your conventional antenna.  However, FT8 on it from TEXAS to Washington State was fun!!  Thanks KT7G for making the contact and confirming it.  Sorry if my side was a bit weak.  1,597miles.  I've included the FT8 QSO photo, and I did get video of it as well.

Hustler 6BTV in the backyard doing it work on Digital and Voice.

Another Antenna project 2m Squalo still experiementing a bit with this low cost antenna.  When testing this antenna in the front yard was interesting that good SWR was attained this close to the ground and this close to the house. Working on completing a 6M 1/2" copper pipe version of this same antenna.  Then the real fun should begin with it.

A recent addition to the ever growing ANTENNA FARM, has been the NA4RR Hexbeam that has been slowly being pushed skyward after spending it's first 5 months at about 4' off the ground on a TRIPOD.  Recently this has moved upward to 16' with a goal soon to be a bit above the roof top.  We just recently moved this to 20' which just is even with the PEAK of my roof.

?Spent part of my younger years in Broadcast Radio and TV, after that worked over 20+ years in the IT Industry with computers as well as servers for several industry leaders.  Still very involved with computers that seem to keep populating in my Shack.

Hobbies include movies, computers, games, Amateur radio and antenna building.

Working another great year in Amateur Radio.

Milestones for me,
Technician Class License 01/25/2017,
General Class License 02/23/2017
Extra Class License approved 08/01/2017

?73's and hope to speak with  you soon!!
