I'm a new HAM! However, I'm not necessarily a young HAM! I'm retired Air Force. I've worked as a Corrections Officer for few years, both State and Private Prisons. My xyl is still Active Duty for another year. We love the LORD, Family, and Amateur Radio! I've been a HAM since June 2015. I'm a General Class operator! I've made a few antennas, a cw transceiver kit, I've helped anot her HAM re-store a couple of HeathKit DX-60 radios. I've climbed towers to help a fellow operator! I have the benefit of a great DX record setting Elmer, Carl, KB5WMY!!! I'm interested in a lot of aspects of amateur radio! I also enjoy hunting, fishing, and camping!
