Hi - Thanks for checking my callsign on HRDLOG.net!
I like to work HF with foreign countries, and have over 200 countries confirmed as of today. The HF station is a FlexRadio 5000 running 100W into a Hexbeam antenna at 50'. This is mounted on my larger tower by my house. I have another 45' tower located in my pasture that has an H frame with 2,222,432, and 6m.
My biggest radio interest is VHF/UHF/Microwave operating - both from home, and also roving with my good friend K8DOG. Here I mainly use a Kenwood TS-2000X for 6m, 2m, 432MHz, and 1.2GHz. A DEMI transverter covers 220MHz, and uses the HF output of the TS-200X as it's IF. Another DEMI transverter covers 902MHz, and I use a Yaesu FT-817 as it's IF. I have home antennas for all those bands on a 70' tower next to my house. The elevation here is about 850' asl, so it gets out fairly well.
