Born, 1953 in Braddock, Pennsylvania. Grew up in Irwin, Pennsylvania. Graduate of Norwin High School, Class of 1971. BS & MS degrees in Communications from Clarion University of Pensylvania.

Former employee of Hewlett-Packard Company and retiree of HP spinoff, Agilent Technologies. Currently employed by German software giant SAP.  Reside in western Montgomery County, PA, 30 miles Northwest of Philadelphia.

Avid DXer & DXpeditioner with operations from 9M6TBT (East Malaysia), V26DX Antigua & VE2/KD3RF (Zone 2, Canada, Northern Quebec).

HF Equipment as-of September 2009: Elecraft K3, P3 panadapter and KPA500 amplifier, Collins 180S1 tuner, Cubex 3 element cubical quad, Butternut HF-6V vertical.

2 Mtr / 440 mHz (FM only), 6 Mtr (SSB/CW/FM).
