 In 1974 I got my First Class Radiotelephone license with a RADAR endorsement. I spent 15 years in the land-mobile communications field before switching to avionics. Eventually I shifted to computers and spent about 15 years as a support technician, programmer and systems analyst. I was licensed in 2008 with a General.

I'm running an FT-950 HF rig and an IC-7300 and build all of my wire antennas. I have an OCF 10-80 and a 10-160 EFHW. Also have a Hustler BTV5 vertical.
