I got my license in September of 2007 and upgraded in to a general in March of 2008. At the present time I’m studying for my extra. I enjoy all aspect of ham radio. My wife Carol is also a Ham, KC2VDH and she holds a tech license. We live in Wantage NJ and have 10 acres of land. We have 2 quarter horses, 4 cats and a dog.
We enjoy (you guess it "horseback riding"). Also we are hikers and enjoy camping with our 5th wheel trailer.
My equipment is not much, For HF I have an TS-870 and a MFJ Versa Tuner III, a 3 element tri bander beam and a 40 meter dipole. In my truck I have a Yeasu 2800 VHF and my wife uses a Yeasu XR-7XB HT.
