User info
I have been a licensed amateur radio operator since October 2008 and currently hold a General class license. My Original License was KJ4HJP, then KJ4SAM.
I am an active member of the Titusville Amateur Radio Club, Brevard County ARES and the ARRL. I also am a member of the South East Contest Club.
I enjoy a wide variety of modes, but primarily spend my time on HF working SSB and PSK. My station consists of a Kenwood TS-480HX and the LDG-Pro II Autotuner and a Kenwood V71 2m/70cm in the shack. My Antenna is a Windom OCF 80-10 dipole at about 80 feet horizontal. The radio is connected to my desktop computer via a SingnaLink USB interface for digital modes and serial cable for rig control. My computer runs Win7 and I use HRDv6 and DM-780 as my digital mode operating software of choice and rig control.
Additional equipment I operate mobile two (2) Yaesu FT8800, for 2m/70cm work. and a FT-857D, HF Mobile. My Handitalkie is a Wouxun KG-UV6D.
