User info
As Mr. Peabody would say, "every dog should have a boy".
I am now logging to QRZ, ClubLog, EQSL and HDRLOG in real time. LOTW is still a manual update that occurs at least every two days.
I operate exclusively in the digital modes.
ARRL Life Member and Maxim Society Member # 359.
I just got an IC-9700 and installed a Leo Bodner injection board. I am still tweeking my setup, so please bear with me. I am using an M2 2M-7X at about 40 feet, a M2 440-18X at about 45' and a M2 23CM22EZ at about 40' (9/20/2023). I would love to make a contact on 70cm or even 23cm on digital. Call me at 215-843-2900.
IC-9700 ref 45.1 gross / fine 52.2 (12/14/2023) 1296.300 beacon bearing 300, 144.300 beacon bearing 320 degrees, 432.300 beacon bearing 45 degrees
If I send you a RR73 then I consider that I have worked you and you are in my log. Your 73 is nice but not necessary. So basically I will log every QSO as long as I receive a signal report from you regardless if you reply to my RR73. If you like, you can message me via JTAlert to confirm. I will repeat my RR73 several times if I do not get a 73 for you in response, just in case you do not receive my first RR73. You can check my QRZ page as I log real time.
If you hear me in a QSO, please feel free to call and I will get to you as soon as I am done. You can also skip the initial tranmission with your Grid Square exchange, just start by sending me your signal report. Skipping the Grid Square exchange cycle can save a QSO in iffy condtions.
Idealy I prefer to work stations on a split, but I understand if you need to call me on my TX freq.
My DX rules are simple; everyman for himself as politely as possible.

My antennas include a G5RV Dipole at 25', a GAP Titan at 15', 160m dipole at about 22'. I just put my old CB vertical antenna (Solarcon IMAX 2000 with ground plane) back in service, testing on 10m and 12m; so far so good. On 6m I use a 5 element M2 beam at about 45'. I am using the NA4RR Hex Beam at about 25 feet for 10m-20m and so far I am very impressed. I have a 30m dipole at 25 feet, and a 40m dipole and a 80M dipole both at about 20 feet.
