I earned my Technician ticket as N9WLC back in 1993 in Belvidere, Illinois.  A few years later I upgraded to Tech Plus.  Finally, I upgraded to General somewhere around 2002 (back when 13 WPM CW was still a requirement).  

 

My interests now include DX and all modes on HF including CW, SSB, and digital.
