Bio:

In the early 90's, when I was working as a tech at the Hungarian Radio one of my coworkers was a HAM. While I've been interested in radio since long, he inspired me to make the steps forward to take an exam and get a license. I was poor and my QTH was not quite HAM friendly but regarldess it was a good headstart, getting acquainted with radios, antennas, and digital modes. Later in the 2000s life got busy and for 20-something years I was away from radios, but now that I feel settled and have the time for HAM dusted off my license, acquired new (old) radios, antennas.. once it started it never ends, most HAM knows.

I've always favored digital modes, and there was a huge evolution of them compared to when I started. It is, and will be a long process to learn them, and I'm at the beginning of this path.

Due to its location, my QTH is still less than ideal but, as always, I try to make the best out of it.
