Hello and thanks for taking the time to look me up. I am located in Orpington, Kent approximately 14 miles South East of London in the United Kingdom. I have had interest in radio communications from a young age and I eventually sat and passed the Radio Amateur Exam at Dartford College in 1996 gaining the callsign G7WIR. I was mainly active on VHF and UHF until January 2002 when the foundation licence was introduced and I quickly obtained the callsign M3WIR. That is when I got a proper taste of the HF bands using up to 10 watts output. When the use of HF was given to all B licence holders a while ago, I stopped using my M3 callsign and now only use G7WIR for all bands.
