Born in 1966 in Warrington I have always had an interest in all things radio since being 12 yrs old, electronics and radio has always been a hobby of mine, like a lot of radio amateurs I started out with CB radio in the 80s and then progressed from there taking my RAE City And Guilds exam and passing in 1992, I have had various radios over the years and now have a home base set up. other hobbies include computers, model helicopters and planes and photography, the one thing I am short of these days is time with all these hobbies and work and a growing family its difficult to fit it all in.
