Hello! I was first licenced in May 1990 at 17 years old after my interest was initially generated in amateur radio as a SWL by my grandad when I was just 11 and also by my uncle G1LEG (then W1LEG) who is now silent key.

Working conditions are a Yaesu FTDX3000 with an AKG P5 Mic, Palstar HF-Auto and Acom 1000 into a ZS6BKW inverted doublet with the centre at 11m high for 160m-10m, an Antron vertical for 10m/12m. a halo folded dipole for 6m and a Diamond X30 dual band vertical for 2m/70cm
