Hi, I am an active kitesurfer, geocacher and mountain biker.

I love programming and working with electronics especially Raspberry Pi, Arduino and robotics.

I have been licenced since 1990 and am now active on DMR and HF. Usually you will find me on DMR TG235, TG91 or locally on GB3MR, GB3PZ and GB3WP. Most of my HF activity is PSK31 on 20m.

I have worked primarily as a musician and teacher since leaving school, filling in quiet spells designing vehicle electronic systems for major manufacturers. I can regularly be found playing around Lancashire in various bands.

I became an RSGB assessor in Sept 2019, and I am now running the Amateur Radio club at the school which I work at and getting new students ready for their foundation licences.
