I first got interested in radio at school when my Chemistry teacher found I was far more interested in the large metal box in the corner than his subject!! I went on to get my class B in Feb 1980, G8VBY and then my Class A, G4KVI in November. Despite being licensed for over 40 years I still find the whole thing fascinating and still find new things to play with, my latest being SSTV from the ISS.
